  1               The Great Impact Teachers Have   Emily Goldstein     My takeaways from this class include the importance of planning, the versatility necessitated by a dance instructor, and the great impact teachers have on development and life experiences. It is so crucial for instructors to fully plan out lessons so they are not left scrambling if a substitute teacher is needed, or if activities take longer or shorter than originally planned. A teacher needs to have a plan A, B, and C for every possible scenario so that they are able to lead to their fullest potential. Instructors must also be flexible in terms of their planning and activities, as well as versatile so that they can make any situation work.
